Join Chef Mateo, in the teaching kitchen to welcome the Spring Equinox with Kak’ik, a traditional Mayan Stew made with a rich chicken or turkey broth, red chile and achiote. 

  • Saturday, March 14 

  • 1 PM – 3 PM 

  • Teaching Kitchen  

  • Ages: 15+ (To ensure everyone's safety, children cannot accompany participants in the Teaching Kitchen) 

  • Registration Fee: $5 

  • Bring: non-slip, close toe shoes and an apron if you have one

Cancellation Policy
CANCELLATION POLICY Refunds for classes and workshops are given only if the class or workshop is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances or if a class or workshop doesn't meet the minimal enrollment requirements. There will be no partial refunds or credits. Refunds will not be given if registered participant doesn't show up for the class or workshop.
