Join Lizbeth Sanchez from Cushi Cushi915 in this Mexican Tenango Embroidery class! Tenango is an iconic and vibrant embroidery originated in Tenango de Doria, a community in the mountains in the state of Hidalgo, located in central Mexico, and associated with the Otomí-Tepehua indigenous community.  

  

During this 5-session course, you'll learn Tenango embroidery origin and worldview (cosmovisión), the inspiration behind Tenangos as well as pattern tracing and embroidery technique.

  • Sunday June 7, 14, 28, and Sunday July 5 and 12 

  • 11 AM – 2 PM 

  • Digital Classroom 

  • Ages 14  

  • NEW - Registration Fee: $25 per person covers cost of materials

CANCELLATION POLICY Refunds for classes and workshops are given only if the class or workshop is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances or if a class or workshop doesn't meet the minimal enrollment requirements. There will be no partial refunds or credits. Refunds will not be given if registered participant doesn't show up for the class or workshop.
