Flags as Contemporary Art  

Flags are powerful symbols of place and identity. The workshop will be introduced with examples of how flags have been used as symbols and artworks and incorporates discussions of symbolism and iconography. 

*Participants are encouraged to bring their own fabrics or clothing to recycle into banners and flags.
