DESCRIPTION: \n In this workshop participants will create their own milagrito sculpture, following the mosaic technique used by Mago Gándara. This workshop invites participants to appreciate mosaic-making from a perspective of contemplation and personal expression.  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n Guided by Juárez based artist Marisol Casarrubias, this workshop encourages examination, experimentation, and dialogue with artworks from the MACC's current exhibition "Mujer Moderna: The Life and Artwork of Mago Gándara."  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n Participants will develop confidence in creating mosaics while discovering the process behind this expressive form.  \n  \n   \n  \n  \n  \n  \n No prior experience is required.  \n  \n
